Thursday, June 13, 2024 –A Police officer was today shot dead by colleagues after he opened fire on a Magistrate who had ruled against his wife.
A source shared that a family arrived for the verdict in a case involving a woman which was to be delivered by Principal Magistrate, Monica Kivuti based at Makadara Law Courts
In the ruling, the said woman received a life sentence after the magistrate had canceled anyy possibilities of a bond.
At this juncture, her angry and armed husband drew his gun and shot the magistrate in the thigh; what prompted officers manning the scene to act with speed and shoot the rogue husband of the convicted woman.
The woman in the case, according to some sources, is battling Cancer and is facing a fraud case.
