Sunday, July 21, 2024 ––United States of American U.S.A President Joe Biden has endorsed Kamala Harris as his successor in the 2024 race against Donald Trump.
In a post he made on X today just moments after announcing his resignation, President Biden urged the Americans to turn out in large numbers so that to support his vice Kamala Harris beat Trump.
“My fellow Democrats, I have decided not to accept the nomination and to focus all my energies on my duties as President for the remainder of my term. My very first decision as the party nominee in 2020 was to pick Kamala Harris as my Vice President. And it’s been the best decision I’ve made,” he stated partly.
He noted that he was offering his full support for Harris as the nominee for the Democrats; an endorsement he described as promising.
“Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year. Democrats — it’s time to come together and beat Trump. Let’s do this,” he also stated.
United States of American U.S.A President Joe Biden had dropped out of the presidential race to make the news through a seven-para statement to the people of America.
