A truck reportedly crashed two people on bodaboda who were traveling along Mayanja road in Bungoma County.
Speaking to the media, Daniel Barasa who witnessed the horrific incident said the speeding lorry ran over the duo cutting a woman’s leg but luckily survived and quickly rushed to a nearby hospital for help.
The afternoon accident attracted a huge crowd and traffic snarl up was also witnessed at the scene as good Samaritans tried hard to save the two victims -a rider and his passenger woman who was bleeding and in deep pains.
According to area police, the woman who was in critical condition was then rushed to St. Paul Hospital before she was transferred to the Bungoma Referral Hospital for specialized treatment.
This is happening just a day after another grisly road accident happened at Kiserian where a lorry rammed a moving salon car killing the driver on the spot
Elsewhere same day, two people also succumbed to injuries after they were involve in an accident along Lang’ata road in Nairobi. Their bodies were reported to have been taken to the a city morgue.
