Wednesday, February 8, 2023 –President William Ruto’s younger daughter Charlene Ruto has triggered another online discussion with a controversial photo.
Ms Charlene who has been the subject of public scrutiny following her many tours around the country and her recent claim that she runs an office of the ‘first daughter’, yesterday Tuesday February 7, she shared a photo of herself with two colleagues waving women panties in the air.
The photos would be shared viral by social media users among them blogger Cyprian Nyakundi some who thought there was nothing wrong with it.
“Towards the end of last year, we met the team from @BeGirlOrg who create sustainable hygiene products like reusable pads, period panties & menstrual cups. Their commitment to enhancing & improving period care is being embraced globally. Would you use a menstrual cup?” she captioned the image.
She was highlighting an innovative women pants for Menstrual hygiene. The pant reduces the need for women to buy sanitary pads which can be rolled out to girls in rural settings.
“From her tweet, yes it’s right to do so…she was publicizing a certain team that innovated the sanitary pads which I guess it’s a local company,” a user commented.
