Saturday, April 17, 2021 -Actor OJ born Dennis Mugo will be vying for Ward seat in the next general elections through Ruto-linked political party.

In his Saturday April 17 statement, Mugo said he had made the decision after wide consultations with locals who want him to manage their affairs at County level.

“I have always been thinking about joining politics and it is time to step up and make a change for my people. My main focus is the youth, the issues that affect them and their empowerment,” Mugo said.

Shall he win the race, Mugo stated that he will make sure his Ruguru-Ngandori Ward gets what it deserves in matters health and economy.

His decision to join the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party was informed by the fact that the DP has a purpose for both Kenyan youth and the poor people who seem to have been neglected by all men in  power.

He hailed praises at Deputy President William Ruto whom he claimed was an inspiration for the struggling population in the country having came from the same background.

“The hustler narrative which is about uplifting of the common mwananchi is why I joined the party. The empowerment of youth is what I want to accomplish,” said Oj.

Under the Hustler leadership, the country, according to the aspirant, will be able to address the deficiencies in technology.

Mugo then accused the siting County Assembly Member Mr. Kariuki Munyi for not only being old and lazy but also a careless leader who has achieved so little for the people and much for himself.
