Where do people get guts to tell Hon. Raila Odinga to quit his political job and brand he created through sweat, teargas and jail terms?
Many times, I hear people say that Mr. Odinga should retire from national politics so that he can go back to his Bondo Village as if he has ever lived in Bondo.
Raila’s father was a rich politician and among the very first politicians to make wealth in this country. He used to live in the city of Nairobi together with his family. The children schooled abroad. To comprehend what I am saying, let me simplify it for you. If Jomo Kenyatta made wealth, Jaramogi too made his wealth. Where there was Jomo there was Jaramogi. Don’t be fooled!
I keep asking myself several questions. How can you tell someone to quit something you didn’t put him into? You are even not aware how he became the Raila you see and hear but you’re here yapping every morning to evening about Raila this, Raila that.
Some of you just rant about Raila because you heard someone do it or your father did it in your presence. Asked why you are complaining; you can’t have an answer of your own.
On Tuesday, Odinga together with President William Ruto, hosted Their Majesties King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands for State Banquet, State House, Nairobi.
Kenyans on social media could not stop talking both positive and negative comments but, sadly for you, Odinga will be around with us for a lot more time. Get used to it this early.
