When photos of the third wife to the late Matungu MP Justus Murunga emerged online, no one was sure if she was an imposter.
The legislator who recently died from Covid-19 virus allegedly had an affair that culminated into a come-we-stay marriage with a Kikuyu lady by the name of Agnes Wangui Wambiri who rose to the limelight, after she managed to stop the burial of the late lover citing unresolved family issues.
She rushed to court to stop any early attempts to bury her husband without her equal involvement, a move that caught the other two widows off-guard.
Wangui and Christabel have since been involved in a court tussle delaying the collection of the late MP’s body which is currently lying at Lee Funeral Home.
And during a sit down interview with the Daily Nation, she disclosed how she met with the MP some time back and before the sun could set, they were dating.
She further told the publication that she met the MP in Ruai where she used to hawk him Porridge and tea then love followed. He would later rent her a 3 bedroom house in the same area where she has been living with their two kids(3 and 7 years old).
Wangui went on to describe MP Murunga as a lovable man and who treated her kids well. He was also a frequent visitor in their home anytime he was around. She added, by showing MPESA transactions, that all the bills including rent were timely paid.
The two according to Wangui, were in the process of holding an official marriage ceremony through a Kikuyu customary wedding.
Wangui has since showed her willingness to come at his Kakamega rural home and settle there for life alongside her fellow two widows.
“I am willing to relocate to his rural, join my fellow widows’ there and raise the family together. I don’t mind,” she stated.
The late succumbed to signs of Covid-19 after experiencing breathing complications a few weeks ago.
