Tuesday, March 2, 2021 -Chama Cha Mashinani CCM party leader Isaac Ruto has opened up on why he had to return to William Ruto’s camp ahead of 2022 campaigns.
From his latest statement, the former governor said he was not happy seeing the deputy president continue receiving ‘unwarranted tribulations’ from his rivals and the state. Due to this he had to make a quick decision to help him fight his wars.
He added that Ruto’s unending suffering in government informed his move to join him back saying he felt it was becoming unfair and too much.
He also mentioned that after supporting Raila in 2017 with hopes that they will treat each other with dignity, this is nolonger the case.
“When I saw my brother (DP Ruto) had been left out and subjected to tribulations by the Jubilee administration including Odinga whom I had supported, we chose to unite to rival them,” Rutto stated.
According to Isaac, his reunion with William Ruto will make sure there region is cushioned from outside forces which seems to be aiming at creating unnecessary frictions.
