Monday, April 12, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto’s top ally Rigathi Gachaga has poured cold water on the newly formed One Kenya Alliance.
One Kenya Alliance is the ‘new kid’ in town comprising ANC Party leader Musalia Mudavadi, KANU’s Gideon Moi, Ford Kenya’s Moses Masika Wetang’ula and the Wiper Democratic Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
And during his latest Sunday interview hosted by Francis Gachru at Royal Media’s Inooro TV, MP Gachagua publicly reduced the One Kenya Alliance to just another armatures’ political grouping which cannot bother anyone.
“Let me say that Raila is the only competitive leader who can give our candidate a run for his money. These others called the Cerelac are just jokers,” he noted.
The firebrand Mathira legislator also explained that, without the ODM Party boss Mr. Odinga in an election, the exercise will be a boring one.
“Odinga also spices up our politics and without him, the presidential race will be very dull. If he decides not to run for the presidency, then Ruto will win early in the morning, and we will be watching the results while enjoying at Mombasa,” alluded Mr. Gachagua.
And speaking on the possible merger of the two -Raila and Ruto – the Ruto footsoldier observed that such an outfit will mean that IEBC should call the election over as Uhuru hands over power to them.
