ODM, KANU Pulling Together as Speculations Rise

Sunday, April 18, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM and KANU Parties are moving closer to each other every day.

Just days after Gideon Moi’s top ally William Kamket was captured heaping praises on Raila Odinga as a national patriot whom they cannot ignore in the next government, Orange Party has today returned the same favour to KANU’s Gideon Moi.

Through his social media handle, Homa Bay Town MP Peter Opondo Kaluma observed that the KANU Party chairman’s political star was on a steady rise and therefore he a factor for 2022.

Though his sentiments continued fetching mixed reactions from across the board, most Kenyans now have been made to believe that the two rival parties are gearing towards something common ahead of 2022.

“The profile of Gideon Moi is rising each passing day! Anyone taking his contest for the Presidency for granted is not Kenyan. By the way, does GM have any known enemy?” Kaluma wrote on Twitter.

Gideon who is the main political rival of Deputy President William Ruto in their Rift Valley area recently met with Odinga at Karen and the two shared political notes. In their meeting was also Uhuru Kenyatta’s younger brother Muhoho Kenyatta. There meeting though speculative, pundits claimed it was part of the 2022 game plan.

Gideon Moi’s close friend and Tiaty legislator, Mr. Kamket, in his reaction to the meeting stated that it will be a big mistake if Raila will not be part of the next dispensation; sentiments that Mr. David Murathe quickly shared by saying his prediction about a possible coalition was coming to pass.
