Tuesday, July 23, 2024 ––Nominated Attorney General Rebecca Miano has responded to claims that she had declined the recent nomination made by President William Ruto.
Reports that Rebecca Miano has declined President Ruto’s appointment started spreading like wild fire as Kenyan on both X and Facebook shared conflicting versions.
She would later emerge with a clarification statement saying what has been going round was a rumour and that this makes her even stronger.
“When rumour mills are rolling, the well~advised stay still,” she released an official statement.
This clarification putting to rest the misleading speculations that she had declined to take up the new role at the Sheria House.
This was happening even as President William Ruto moved Mr. Aden Duale from the Ministry of Defence to that of Environment formerly held by Rebecca Miano.
Duale swapped positions with Soipan Tuya who has since taken position at the sensitive and lucrative Defence docket.
