President William Samoei Ruto has told Kisumu people that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is helping him run the country.
In his speech at Kondele Market, Ruto stated that Raila helping him move the country forward is nothing wrong owing to the fact that they have been friends for many years.
The head of State reminded Kisumu residents how he supported Mr. Odinga in 2007 to make him Prime Minister and, today, Odinga has returned that favour which is acceptable in politics and any other field.
“I have told you many times that I once supported your son Raila. What is wrong if he helps me today to do my thing?” he posed to excited ODM supporters.
Ruto is in Kisumu County for a development tour accompanied by various ODM and Kenya Kwanza leaders. He was received by area Governors among them Anyang Nyong’o and James Orengo.
