Thursday, November 2, 2023 –President William Ruto has mourned that late Mombasa-based artiste Ali Mwaghali Khamisi common by the stage name Ally B who passed on yesterday Wednesday.
News about passing on of the Ziki la Nazi hitmaker came from the family and friends who indicated that he succumbed to Hypertension shortly after being rushed to hospital.
Fellow artists would also pour on the comments section with messages of condolence reminiscing the days they shared same stage with the Mombasa’s best singer.
President William Ruto was not left behind same to many Coastal and Nairobi musicians and leaders who described the late as a rare talent that will be missed on radio and Tv.
“I join the music fraternity in mourning the passing of Ally B, a musician who harnessed his talent to foster unity and harmony in our society. Ali Khamisi Mwanguli inscribed his message of peace deep within our hearts, and we will forever carry that meaningful tune,” Ruto mourned.
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya, who enjoyed Ally B’s music in 2022 campaigns, also joined the rest of the country in grieving with the affected family.
“I join the music community in mourning the passing of Ally B, an artist who made significant contributions to my campaigns.
“We extend our condolences to his family, friends, and fans as we remember a remarkable entertainment icon,” he stated in his message of condolence.
Natembeya added that musician Ally B used his musical talent not only for entertainment but also to foster unity, political awareness, and tranquility in the society.
“Ali Mwanguli shared his talents, helping us better understand our roles in shaping the political landscape of our nation. We will forever cherish the impact of his melodies. During this challenging time, we pray that God provides solace to his family, friends, and loyal fans,” he further said.
The mellow-voiced crooner was declared dead at the Makadara hospital in Mombasa where he was rushed after complaining of feeling unwell.
Before his sudden demise, according to sources, Ally B had spent his day at Kilifi running his daily errands.
Ally B reportedly died as a result of high blood pressure.
