Thursday, September 14, 2023 -President William Ruto has again met with rebel Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party elected lawmakers from Nyanza Region.
Photos of Ruto having a humble discussion with the MPs emerged from the Statehouse on Wednesday September 13 afternoon.

Embattled Lang’ata Member of Parliament MP Phelix Odiwuor aka Jalang’o and other Rebel ODM MPs facing expulsion were present.
The defiant politicians have vowed to continue working with the government no matter the consequences threatened on them by their party leadership.
“I have no apology,” Kisumu Senator Lawyer Ojienda wrote on his social media platforms.
On his behalf, MP Jalang’o who maintained that his working with Dr. Ruto would go on for the reasons of development in Lang’ata was seen having sideline joyous time with President Ruto.
“I am in ODM Party and am going to use the same party to vie in 2027 unless ODM wants to lose the seat to rivals,” he said as quoted by a section of the media today, Wednesday.
Jalang’o, Tom Ojienda, Carol Omondi among other rebels were present in today’s meeting that was chaired by President William Ruto.

The politicians’ meeting is said to have centered on both development and unity of purpose.
Ruto has, over time, emphasized his resolve to work with all elected leaders from all political parties; something that the opposition leader has openly been against.
