Susan Nakhumicha has been given another job just because she had some privilege to address the president recently during Wafula Chebukati’s funeral event in Trans Nzoia.
Lucky her for having secured an opportunity to speak infront of the president. Definably, she must have lobbied more than enough to get that opportunity to address her former boss. An opportunity which some of us won’t get lifetime. Sad.
During the address session, she designed her speech with emotional words which, seemingly, the president bought as gospel truth.
The president, maybe, believed that Nakhumicha is now jobless and selling cabbage. It’s laughable. Nakhumicha cannot be jobless and was not selling cabbage. Tell it to the birds.
If Rashid Echesa, for the few days he was in the Cabinet, managed to buy apartments, what about Nakhumicha who, seemingly, is abit literate though not much? Again, she was in the health docket which is well funded than Sports ministry which Echesa held during Uhuru Kenyatta’s regime.
Nakhumicha is not poor and not jobless. It’s wrong for someone to try to imagine that. The reason she was given back another government job is because she is connected. Second reason is, she also can secure an opportunity to get to the microphone to address the president; an opportunity many of us Hustlers can’t have even if we jump up and come down.
And if addressing the president is the only key to job opportunities, then my fellow Bodaboda and mama mbogas, you are cooked. Forget about any job in this government.
Anyway, we wish Nakhumicha well and we hope she will represent fellow mama mbogas well in her new role as their representative.
