Saturday, June 19, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto has now gone full circle into the United Democratic Alliance UDA Party.
The DP who today Saturday June 19 pitched camp in West Pokot County, stated in black and white that he will use the newly formed UDA Party to fight for power in the next general elections.
He claimed that the coming together of Raila Odinga and his boss Uhuru Kenyatta was purely meant to deny him access to power.
Ruto who, for the first time, came out of the shadows and urged supporters to start embracing his new home UDA, seemed to be going full blown after learning that their Jubilee Party was merging with ODM rivals.
“Sisi tuko imara, tuko radar. Tuko na chama ya mahustler ambayo inaitwa UDA,” Ruto charged to the delighted supporters in West Pokot.
This public declaration comes against the backdrop of a series of meetings between Jubilee and ODM parties leadership to form an alliance meant to face off with Tangatanga camp in the next election.
Ruto’s UDA Party, for sometime, has been stealing the show from rival Jubilee especially during the recently concluded by-elections across the country.
