Tuesday, March 29, 2022 –Safina Party presidential aspirant Jimi Wanjigi has sparked reactions on media after claiming that he doesn’t bother checking how much is in his account.
While reacting to a question from NTV journalist who had sought to know if he was willing to make public his wealth, the billionaire simply responded saying he can’t tell how much he is worth because he doesn’t know what is in the bank.
He reasoned that his flooded accounts keep on changing every minute and tracing every coin that goes in and out cannot be an easy task.
He added that what he can confirm is the fact that he is among the few Kenyans who can afford almost anything on earth and feed their families comfortably.
While defending his answer to the journalist, the tycoon noted that just like the African culture dictates, he cannot start talking about how much he has managed to make.
“You’re aware that I’m an African. Exactly like our forefathers, despite the fact that they had a lot of cows back then, they never disclosed their actual figures. I have a well-cared-for family, and I’m thankful that they have a room on top of them every day,” Wanjigi responded.
The ex-ODM Party live member is currently vying for the top seat in the country. He has also seen coalescing around Deputy President William Ruto with word having it that he could endorse his presidency following his bitter fallout with Raila Odinga.
