Friday, February 12, 2021 -Former Prime Minister Raila Amollo Odinga will be the head of the Executive in the next dispensation. Jubilee Party has announced.
Speaking to the Standard Newspaper on Thursday February 11, Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe said Mr. Odinga will hold a very powerful position in the next Government and that this arrangement will start immediately the BBI is passed.
Murathe detailed that the ODM boss will be the head of the expanded Executive that will be formed in 2022.
“BBI would provide for an expanded Executive that would be led by Raila,” Mr. Murathe said according to the publication.
And while commenting on the recent controversial remarks made by the president, Murathe affirmed that it will be immoral shall Mr. Kenyatta leave the country to William Ruto.
He noted that it is president’s desire that the country remains in safer hands when he will be exiting the stage for his retire.
According to the former Gatanga legislator, Uhuru is keen not to leave the country to a crop of hungry tigers who will invade the granary and leave mwananchi suffering.
“The president is committed to leaving power in a safe pair of hands. It is his responsibility not to leave it to leaders whose hands are in the cookie jar and will invade the granary,” he stated.
Murathe’s sentiments are coming just a day after Raila Odinga said they are making arrangements with the like-minded individuals to come up with a formidable alliance for their 2022 political journey.
