Wednesday, April 3, 2024 -Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza has officially joined Government party.
The embattled county boss was received in the party by Secretary General Cleophas Malalah and other party officials.
In their notes, the leaders urged all UDA political figures from Meru to embrace a reconciliatory tone so that Meru can start realising development after years of wrangles.
Embu Governor, Cecily Mbarire, also the Chairperson of the UDA Party, said that the ruling party would support the governor so that to calm the ongoing leadership storm.
“I take this opportunity as the UDA Chair, and a neighbour of Meru County, to state that the time to heal Meru County is now here,” announced Cecily Mbarire.
Governor Mwangaza has been at the center of storm having been confronted with twin impeachments from Members of County Assembly MCAs
