Monday, August 12, 2024 –Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has paid hospital bill for Nuru Okanga’s child.
Today in a press briefing, Okanga who was flanked by Makarena and Omosh One hour, announced good news that the son had been discharged after months of struggle with hospital bills.
Nuru Okanga divulged that, he has been raising small figures of money towards his ill child’s medical bill, but it was not until today, when Prof. Kithure came to his final rescue.
“I had reached a dead wall but now I thank Hon. Kindiki who has finally squared a whopping sh 900,000 bill at Kenyatta Hospital.
“I thank Makarena who made the connection yesterday and within just two days, my child is out courtesy of Prof. Kindiki,” said Okanga while outside Kenyatta Hospital today Monday August 12.
On his side, his friend Omosh said, Kindiki reacted after learning that Okanga could no longer manage the huge bill.
Omosh added that CS Kindiki did not just pay for Okanga alone but also other patients who were stranded at facility.
Okanga has thanked all those who participated in the previous donations to aid the release of the child from hospital.
Makarena, on his part, stated that Kindiki reacted to the call following the recent formation of Government of National Unity with the opposition.
