Wednesday, June 26, 2024 -President William Ruto has declined to sign the Finance Bill 2024, and, instead, sent it back to Parliament.

This happening a day after angry Kenyans dubbed Gen Zs mounted too much pressure on his administration which was hellbent on making it turned into law despite concerns.

Gen Zs had declared a bi-weekly demonstration against Ruto’s governmnet over increased taxation.
