Thursday, June 24, 2021 -NASA co-principals have reportedly changed tune and are now ready to be part of the ongoing ODM-Jubilee coalition talks or rather agreement ahead of 2022 elections.
Revealing this development, Jubilee Party Deputy Secretary General Hon Joshua Kutuny told The Daily Nation that Mr. Musalia Mudavadi and his Wiper counterpart Kalonzo Musyoka were now willing to engage Uhuru and Raila over plans to form an alliance.
This is happening just days after the two went wild by throwing jibes at ODM Party leader Raila Odinga accusing him of lack of honesty.
According to Mr. Kutuny, who is also the current Cherengany Member of Parliament, Amani National Congress ANC and Wiper Democratic Parties will henceforth be part of any ongoing alliance talks for 2022.
“We have already presented the coalition proposals before the National Management Committee(NMC) for ratification. Several issues were discussed including bringing on board like-minded parties. Already, the Amani National Congress and Wiper parties have shown interest in being part of the talks and we are happy to bring them on board,” Hon Joshua Kutuny divulged.
Just the other day, Mr. Kalonzo rebuked any attempts to lure him into working with Raila Odinga whom he accused of deceit. Kalonzo and Musalia argued that Odinga is not supposed to vie for the top seat in 2022; according to their 2017 NASA pact.
Word has it that even as the group gears towards forming an alliance which will also comprise KANU’s Gideon Moi, DP William Ruto, on the other hand, has embarked on a raiding spree and doesn’t want to live anything to chance on the NASA side.
