Thursday, July 4, 2024 –President William Ruto’s daughter Charlene Ruto’s continued campaign to rally the youths to join his father on X today Thursday has received criticism on social media.
Charlene who has been urging the young men and women in the country to engage the father on X Space following the Tuesday announcement, seems to be receiving a blow from the same youths who are dissatisfied with the current leadership.
For instance, Today Thursday July 5, the president’s daughter took to her X to rally supporters to join her father’s X Space discussion tonight saying it is a chance of a lifetime that should not escape all young men who are yearning for good governance.
“Young people, the chance of a lifetime awaits you. I encourage you to use it wisely and engage constructively because you are the ones who will determine the continuity of such levels of discussion for your success. The first ever president in the world to hold an online meeting with all Gen Z. Leggoo!” she posted the statement on Thursday morning.
Droves of Kenyans on X , however, have organised a parallel X Pace show at the same time with the president’s schedule’
“We would love to attend the Space but, unfortunately, Jacob Juma will be hosting a Space at the exact time. Would you mind rescheduling??” Den Kogei responded.
On Wednesday July 4, Ruto made the announcement that he will be meeting Kenyans on X Space so that to engage with them and share a lot on governance.
The head of State will be having a three-hour discussion dubbed Q and A session that will see every young man in the country get answers on anything they want to know.
The session is scheduled today from 2PM to 5PM.
