Wednesday, October 4, 2023 –Kenya’s long-living urban radio station Capital FM is moving its headquarters from the Central Business District CBD, Nairobi.
The Chris Kirubi-owned media station has today Wednesday made the announcement adding that this is meant to improve accessibility to its clients as well as to have a conducive working environment.
The statement signed by managing Director Feisal Baghazal and seen by Homenews.Co.ke indicated further that the move was a new strategy in line with company’s new goals in the emerging market dynamics.
“Two Rivers Mall, situated in Nairobi’s diplomatic blue zone, is a hub of activity, making it an ideal choice for Capital FM to connect with its listeners,” he noted.
He added that this decision was reached at after thorough evaluation of the pros and cons of creating a fresh atmosphere for both its clients and the staff.
“The move promises a fresh and engaging experience for both the station and its audience, as it steps into a new chapter in its broadcasting journey at this prime location,” the statement also read.
Moving of their office equipment will be effected from Saturday October 7 with strict adherence to the policy of uninterrupted airwaves.
“We are doing our best to ensure a seamless migration of the systems with minimal interruption to our programmes,” the station’s Managing Director Feisal Baghazal stated.
Two Rivers Mall where the station is relocating to is also owned by the late billionaire Chris Kirubi who left the business empire in the hands of his family.
Two Rivers Mall is located in Ruaka, Nairobi County.
