Thursday, April 29, 2021 -Lawyer Cliff Ombeta has joined Deputy President William Ruto-linked-United Democratic Alliance Party – UDA.

This has settled rising speculation over his political stand after having been spotted, not once, coalescing around the deputy president.

Making this official, the controversial lawyer announced on Wednesday Thursday April 29 through his Twitter Handle that he had joined UDA Party as a fully registered member.

“I am a registered member of United Democratic Alliance,” his brief update message read.

Sources who Homenews.co.ke spoke to said the lawyer wants to venture into politics in the next general elections and he is just preparing ground.

At the moment, the criminal lawyer has reportedly pitched camp in Bonchari Constituency where he is campaigning for UDA Party candidate Teresa Oyioka widow – to former Bonchari MP John Oyioka.

The lawyer has appeared in many high voltage cases among them Dj Evolve’s murder case with Babu Owino, Sharon Murder case in which he represented Governor Okoth Obado and the Akasha brothers.
