Former Independent Electoral Commission IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba has finally spoken on the murder of Chris Msando.
In a new twist that will see the country evoke past emotions, Chiloba has allegedly threatened Roselyn Akombe from talking about death of Msando.
This comes just a day or two after Akombe who is now living in the USA promised to lay bare the detailed that led to the chilling murder of Msando.
“On this anniversary of my colleague Msando’s murder, could you take this case up in the public’s interest? As I have said in the past, I am ready to testify,” she appealed.
She has since claimed that on Sunday August 2nd morning, she received a controversial email from her former colleague Chiloba asking her to stop talking about past events or else she will be punished too.
“Do not attempt to rewrite history. Our silence is not your license,” read a text email from a screenshot shared by Akombe and which she claims came from Chiloba.
Akombe has now capitalised on the threatening email from Chiloba to affirm her sentiments with a desire to appear before any inquest into the chilling murder of her colleague, the late Msando.
“It confirms my call for an inquiry. Kenyans deserve the truth. I owe it to you,” she captioned the screenshot.
Homenews.co.ke has tried to reach to Chiloba who is currently living a quiet rural life but his mobile phone was switched off the morning of Sunday August 2nd.
The lifeless body of Msando was discovered a week later dumped in thicket in Kikuyu, Kiambu County. Notably his writs were mutilated.
Before his ugly death, the late had reported to police that his life was in danger following a series of text messages he had been receiving to give out his work confidential passwords.
