Monday, December 20, 2021 –Flights from Kenya to Dubai have been stopped. The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority DCAA has made the announcement.
In a statement made on Monday December 20 by Fly Emirates, the ban will continue from December 20, 2021 at 10.30AM for a period of 48 hours.
But even as this un-expected change was announced, flights from Dubai to Kenya will continue uninterrupted.
“Customers will not be accepted for travel on Emirates flights at Nairobi during this time,” read an excerpt from the Fly Emirates.
Anyone who was affected by the suspension was quickly urged to remain patient with their tickets until this will be lifted.
“Get in touch with their travel agent or booking office to make new travel plans. Emirates regrets any inconvenience caused,” it further read.
The Emirates office in Nairobi did not clarify why the ban had been announced but acknowledged that they were receiving a lot of calls from all over the world on the matter and hence working on modalities to resume full operations.
