Monday, February 22, 2021 -Juja Member of Parliament Francis Munyua Waititu has been confirmed dead.

The MP cum businessman commonly referred to as Wakapee by the electorates breathed his last on the evening of Monday February 22.

“My sincere heartfelt condolences to the family of my late friend and also my home MP Hon. Munyua ‘Wakapee’ was to see him this afternoon and I felt a bye bye coming from him. I treasure the fond memories of over 30 yrs of our friendship. Fare thee well my friend,” Mr. William Kabogo eulogized.

Sources indicated that since 2018, the politician has been battling brain Cancer and has been in and out of hospital most of the time.

It was reported last December that the legislator had lost all forms of memory despite having been going through specialized treatment around the city.
