Saturday October 9, 2021 -Keriako Tobiko, brother to Kajiado East Member of Parliament Peris Tobiko is reportedly not happy with her move to decamp from Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party to Ruto’s UDA.
Reports reaching Homenews.co.ke desk indicate that her actions on Friday October 8 saw his brother Keriako react negatively same to her husband Kishanto Ole Suuji.
“William Samoei Ruto has no permission to storm people’s premises without invitation. “I am hurt, I don’t support what is going on,” Suuji said as quoted by Citizen tv.
This was after Peris had officially announced her defection and even went accompanying the DP to most of his tours around Narok and Kajiado counties.
She announced that she was now ready to walk with the Deputy President as 2022 general elections nears so that they can all take power in different capacities.
Her sudden political u-turn came as a surprise to many including her brother Tobiko, who fell out with Ruto long ago. He has even been on the frontline campaigning for Raila Odinga in Kajiado County.
It is remembered that sometimes back, the fierce CS Tobiko referred to William Ruto as just a mere clerk of President Uhuru Kenyatta. He followed this with an event in his County where he hosted Odinga where he promised to join hands with Lenku to rally voters to vote him as the next president.
This therefore sets stage for another titanic battle where Lenku with the blessings of Keriako will be facing off with Peris in the 2022 gubernatorial race.
Peris is currently serving as MP on ODM ticket.
