Thursday, March 4, 2021 -Reports reaching this desk indicate that Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala today morning roughed up Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga after they engaged each other in a heated exchange.
K24 Digital reported that the incident which occurred Bulimbo Primary School tallying center at around 8:30Am saw the two leaders badly differ over bribery claims.
The senator’s Personal Assistant Collins Babu disclosed to K24 Digital that they were tipped off about the alleged bribery before the Senator and his team sped to where Wanga was and on arrival he confronted the Woman Rep.
“Tuliambiwa hiyo stori na kweli tulimpata akipeana hongo(Acting on a tip off, we found Wanga dishing out cash)” Babu claimed
Babu added that they found the Woman Rep dishing out cash to voters what led to the altercation which resulted in the angry Senator. Malala kicking and slapping the Orange Democratic Movement ODM politician.
Malala is supporting their ANC candidate Peter Nabulindo while Wanga is supporting David Were of ODM.
