Tuesday, June 1, 2021 -Former Harambee Stars and AFC Leopard goalkeeper Patrick Matasi is hospitalised alongside his young family after being involved in a road accident today Tuesday June 1.
The accident took place along the Kabsabet–Nakuru Road at Lessos after the car developed a puncture, lost control and veered off the road.
Sources informed that after being rushed at Lessos Clinic they were quickly referred to Kapsabet Hospital.

His relative reported that Mr. Matasi lost control after a tyre burst before all hell broke loose. He had to undergo scanning around his chest after he exhibited chest pains.
“The car lost control, experienced a tyre burst then rolled over. He was with his family and two brothers-in-law, and are both being attended to by doctors,” Mr Mulanda reported.
Kenyans have since poured online with quick recovery messages to the former national team star.
