Thursday, January 14, 2021 -Last JKL show almost turned uglier as two lawmakers Susan Kihika and Millie Odhiambo almost clawed each other on live tv.
The Suba North legislator who appeared to be giving the Nakuru Senator Kihika a hard time all through the debate tore into the William Ruto’s leadership saying it lacked integrity.
This is after Senator Susan brought the topic on Raila Odinga having been shouted down at Burma Market with youths who were chanting Ruto slogans and carrying high a wheelbarrow. Odinga had made a sudden stop over.
Kihika mentioned that Odinga was embarrassed by rowdy crowd who did not want to hear anything to do with the BBI politics because it is not the right thing for Kenyans as of now.
“They can talk about all that handshake or this or that but the people of Kenya will ultimately decide and the reason we hold our heads high is because we see it, like the booing in Burma,” Kihika said.
This however did not go down well with Millie who interrupted with a video evidence of how Raila was hugely received by his supporters at Burma and which the Tangatanga allied politicians wwere not speaking about.
She told Susan that the people who were carrying the wheelbarrow high had been sponsored because that is the life Tangatanga thrives in well. He referred to the group as “a small group at the corner”.
Jeff Koinange who was hosting both politicians remained dumbfounded as the two went to each other fangs and tongs.
Governor Charity Ngilu would later weigh in by offering a free counsel to the two MPs to calm down and discuss issues because millions of Kenyans were watching.
