Thursday, November 16, 2023 –Anne Njeri, the business lady whose sh 17 billion oil consignment was confiscated by the State is not the true owner of the consignment.

Opposition leader Raila Odinga, while responding to questions by the journalists today in Nairobi has said, Njeri is a proxy working for other people in and outside the government.

“We have all seen the face of that lady called ‘Njeri wa Mafuta’. looking at her closely will tell you that she doesn’t look like someone who can bring in that much of oil,” Raila stated.

The Opposition boss added that the cost involved in oil businesses is not a means fit and for someone to front Njeri as the real owner was taking Kenyans for granted.

Mr. Odinga was speaking this while leaking out unknown details on the dirty oil business going on in the William Ruto’s administration amid increased cost of living.

Speaking about Anne Njeri, her mother also said today to the media that, all along, she never knew her daughter was that rich.

She was quoted by the Nation newspaper.
