Raila to use a new Political Party to run for top Seat

Though still unconfirmed, well-placed sources indicate that the two parties are almost folding up so that to form something new which they can use to claim power in the next general elections. The new formation will largely comprise of the ODM, Jubilee and the One Kenya Alliance parties among others.

This, according to sources, will help Mr. Odinga win the 2022 race with a lot of ease and maybe within the first round.

“We want to form a coalition that resembles the NARC of 2002 that will represent each region of this country. In the last 8 years, the country has been split between Jubilee and ODM. Now, these parties are coming together meaning the country is coming together,” a source which is  part of the plan said via the Sunday Nation seeking to remain anonymous.

A report ran by the publication on June 20 showed that in the next 14 days or so, the country should expect a major shift in Kenya’s political landscape where Uhuru and Raila teams will be walking together under a new umbrella.

Through their ten member committee, Raila and Uhuru are holding talks which are bearing fruits very fast and this will culminate into a one big force which will officially start its countrywide activities in two weeks’ time. This will be focused to transforming the March 18 Handshake into a political movement.

The idea, according to our sources, is to come up with a mega political party like the 2002 NARC which Mwai Kibaki used to ascend to power by beating the incumbent Daniel Moi by a large margin. By that time, Odinga was fully behind the campaigns.

But even as this is going on, their fierce rival Deputy President William Ruto – while on a tour in West Pokot – laughed off the plans saying lack of an agenda from some leaders will make them lose the next election to his Hustler Nation.
