Thursday, February 1, 2024 -In today’s world, budding businessmen or ladies are always thinking on how they can start importing items from abroad to Kenya.
Most of the established enterprises at home(Kenya) have been sourcing their products from oversea markets.
Most of often, Kenyan traders make orders of their inventory right from China and Dubai. Those who order from the United States of America U.S.A or Germany are few, though, it still works well for them. The secret lies in the quality and price.
Nonetheless, China and Dubai seem to be the most reliable oversea markets for most of the Kenyan products.
Kenyan traders import both designer and secondhand clothes from China and Dubai. Some get this from the U.S.A suppliers.
Tech and electronic sellers locally, as well, buy their stock from China. The prices are sincerely competitive and good for bigger profits.
Those who sell computers also get them from Dubai and China.
I personally know of a local trader who used to get his computer stock from Dubai and he had a huge market locally. He used to supply computers and laptops in schools. He made his wealth within the shortest time possible before Covid-19 knocked on hsi door and brought him down. It eventually took his life.
With computers and accessories, you make double the amount you used to buy the items.
Importation only requires connection to either e-commerce websites like Alibaba or Amazon. Alternatively, you can source directly either jointly with fellow traders or go get them by yourself.
Then when you have the goods, you can sell them at wholesale rates to free your stick fast.
