Sunday, January 3, 2021 -President Uhuru Kenyatta has further said Covid-19 is still a threat to the country and has extended night curfews to March 12th.
In his new instructions issued today Sunday 3rd January, Mr. Kenyatta noted that the curfews as usual will run from 10PM to 4AM.
According to Citizen Digital, Uhuru directed that there would be no political gatherings or any other for another period of 60 days.


The Head of State, however, said funerals and wedding services will continue as long as they are observing standards. That every activity must adhere to Covid-19 protocols in terms of number of attendants.
Public vehicles and their passengers must also follow the outlined Covid-19 safety and containment measures which include but not limited to wearing facemasks, hand hygiene among others. They will also not exceed 60 percent carrying capacity.
Good news, according to the government, were announced that there was an encouraging positivity rate decline which the head of State said must not be left to pick up again.
Upto now, Kenya alone has since recorded a total of 96,802 Covid-19 cases.
