Monday, August 1, 2022 –Election is now just days to happen and Kenyans are ready to pick their preferred presidential candidate.
As usual, the exercise is always high stake and this round it is even tougher owing to the fact that it is pitting two major political bigwigs who have enormous financial and popularity muscles.
Deputy President William Ruto through his Kenya Kwanza alliance which is comprising Musalia Mudavadi of Amani National Congress ANC Party and Moses Wetang’ula(Ford Kenya) is facing off with long time opposition leader Raila Odinga who is today having an express blessing from the sitting president what pundits are yet to tell if it will help of not.
Just like any other country around the world, elections could be free and fair or not. Nonetheless, it is important to make sure you remain to be your brother’s keeper always.
Make sure you not only wait to vote on August 9 but also preach peace and unity. Also make sure you stock enough foodstuff as what awaits you in the near future remains obscure.
Should elections turn chaotic -like it happened in 2017/8 then 2017 – what is your plan B? Make sure you have enough household items on standby for your family use. These items include sugar, flour, salt and medical drugs.
And what is this that you should do? Just walk into any nearby supermarket today evening and pick the items listed above and thank me later.
