Friday, April 5, 2024 -How can a customer differentiate a fake specialist from the real one? A fake traditional doctor was able to impregnate Husna Omar by following his simple fake instructions.
Husna’s friends told her that for a woman to be fertile, she needs to have a dark line running from the cord towards her private parts. This is a phenomenon among Pokomo women in Tana River.
Husna went straight to the bathroom to check if she had that dark line. She was not convinced. After a couple of days, she went to a traditional healer to examine further why she was not married as well.

The traditional healer told her that she needed to put some medicine in her womb, using his private part as the spell needed. So she was given a Leso and went to the bathroom to cleanse her body through “treated water” given by the man.
“Nikaenda kwa mganga wa kienyeji. Sikujua ni fake. He said ataweka dawa huku chini so that hiyo line itatoka baadaye. That was just theatrics to blackmail me. Akatia yote, akatulia for some minutes. Then akasema dawa imeingia so ningoje majibu,” Husna narrated.
The man told her to continue undressing as it was time to pass the medicine to her womb. The man took a dark powder, smeared it around his manhood, and gently pushed it down to her private parts.
After several days, Husna missed her menses, and that led to troubles. Her family could not settle for that until they knew exactly who did it. She figured it out, but since she did not have a boyfriend, the only way was to abort.
She approached the traditional healer about the pregnancy but insisted on being out of her equation. She opted for a spell to get a boyfriend instead. The man did a fake spell, but she could not get anybody despite following all the procedures given.
“I missed my menses after a few days. Nilipoenda kwake akaniruka. After another month, my parents noticed. They became angry at me and wanted to know the man responsible for that,” she added.
“Nikamwambia kama hataki mimba, then he connects me with a man. His spell could help me get a boyfriend. He gave me a different powder. That did not actually work,“ Husna narrated.
