Wednesday, March 2, 2022 –Outspoken Nandi Hills legislator Alfred Keter has officially joined United Democratic Alliance UDA Party ahead of next elections.
The DP William Ruto’s top critic from Rift Valley Region, on Wednesday March 2, availed himself at UDA Party headquarters in Nairobi where he was received by Mathira MP Rigathi Gachagua.
Reacting to the news, MP Gachagua simply said their ship was becoming even bigger by day and that more persons are welcome so that they can seize power together.
“At the Hustler Center, this afternoon I have welcomed the Hon. Alfred Keter, Nandi Hills Member of Parliament to the Party of the moment and the future. The mass exodus from Jubilee to UDA continues,” Gachagua said.
On his part, Keter said he was happy to join William Ruto in UDA Party saying political tolerance was paramount for democracy to prevail.
“There should be no bitterness or hate where the truth and righteousness exist. Those who stand for nothing fall for anything. My appeal to the people of Kenya is to be self-driven guided by law to tolerate political ideologies without hate,” Keter said.
He also promised to campaign for the United Democratic Alliance UDA presidential candidate William Ruto together with his Bottom Up economic gospel.
“We are now ready to soldier on the 2022 presidential bid and move to all counties of Kenya to seek and solicit more votes to make my brother William Samoei Ruto the fifth president of Kenya,” he added.
While trying to defend his differences with Ruto, Keter said his prediction that Uhuru would finally betray Ruto was the starting point of their fallout with the DP.
