Thursday, November 4, 2021 –Machakos Governor Dr. Alfred Mutua has responded to his estranged wife Lilian Ng’ang’a who today delivered an explosive media briefing against him.
Ms Lilian implicated the governor in a plot to bring her down through recovery of properties, cars and cash from all her bank accounts.
“Mr Mutua angrily termed me as his enemy No. 1, and threatened to crush me to ash, as he takes away everything I have and own.
“Indeed, this has already started as he has demanded that I refund any money he has ever given to me or made available for my use. He also threatened to harm persons close to me,” she said in the briefing.
But Mutua who is currently away in New York USA has responded with a proverb insinuating that his purpose on earth is to have peace with everyone.
“Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.
“Enjoying an early morning sun basking in Boston. Early morning run in New York. It was 5 degrees Celsius,” he wrote on Thursday evening.
Dr. Mutua and Lilian parted ways on August 15 in what both claimed was an amicable agreement when things were not working on either side and that, unfortunately, they were not meant for each other.
