Saturday, June 29, 2024 –Former United States of America Barrack Obama has conceded debate defeat on behalf of Joe Biden saying this happens sometimes.
In statement shared on his socials on Saturday June 29, Obama asked Americans to still have trust in Biden’s leadership since he is someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life.
He also described President Biden as a leader who speaks only the truth and separates right from wrong a characteristic that his competitors do not have.
“Bad debate nights happen. Trust me, I know. But this election is still a choice between someone who has fought for ordinary folks his entire life and someone who only cares about himself. Between someone who tells the truth; who knows right from wrong and will give it to the American people straight — and someone who lies through his teeth for his own benefit. Last night didn’t change that, and it’s why so much is at stake in November,” he said.
Biden had a live televised presidential debate with his strong competitor Donald Trump in which he appeared to struggle to debate.
He would later concede saying he was old and not as strong as he was sometimes back but said he still has energy to run the country for the second tern if given that chance.
“I know I am old folks, I might not walk as easily or talk as smoothly as I used to. I might not debate as well as I used to. But what I do know is how to tell the truth,” Joe said after their debate with Donald Trump,” he said.
This happening as a section of Americans accuse Obama of siding with Joe Biden who is old and deserves to retire honorably.
