Wednesday, February 1, 2023 – Police have already swung into action to probe an indecent viral video clip in which pupils were recorded exercising an immorality.
In the latest news update, homenews.co,ke reporter established that police from Kisii had visited the school – Itumbe Dok Primary – and confirmed the video really came from there.
“It was reported by Nyamache Sub-County Education Director by the name Linet Onduso that today at around 0900hrs she received a clip exposing school pupils in an indecent act.
“On inquiry, she discovered it originated from Itumbe Dok Primary School which is within Nyamache Sub-County,” partly read a police statement on Wednesday February 1.
Both the police and the area director of education marched into the school to start the probe on six teachers who are believed to have been involved in the recording of the now viral controversial clip.
“Officers from Nyamache Police Station together with the reportee visited the said school and established that the clip originated from there and the following teachers from Itumbe Dok Primary School and are assisting in the investigation,” the police report stated.
The teachers who are suspected to have been present during the clip recording are Everline Moraa, Gladys Kenyanya, Angelicia Joseph, Moraa Nyairo, Catherine Mokaya, and William Isoka.
The video was first thrown into public domain by Nairobi blogger Cyprian Nyakundi who triggered police to start an immediate investigations.
