Friday, January 21, 2022 –Musalia Mudavadi’s Party ANC has not invited Raila Odinga in their January 23 National Delegates Conference scheduled at Bomas of Kenya.
Mudavadi said he is expected to drop a major announcement that will change the political landscape in the country.
Addressing journalists on Thursday January 21, Amani National Congress ANC Secretary General Simon Gikuru confirmed that their party had not invited the former prime minister because he is their competitor.
He however made it clear that all One Kenya Alliance principals will be available to grace the occasion which Raila doesn’t need to.
“We have already invited OKA principals. I have not seen any invitation for Raila. Neither have I seen one for Jubilee. Why would we invite our competitors when we are launching our bid for the presidency? To come and do what?” Gikuru posed.
Asked Whether Deputy President William Ruto will attend or not, the secretary general remained quiet on this.
And speaking about the DP, Senator Cleophas Malala said Ruto was not part of their NDC because he also wants to become president like Mr. Mudavadi.
“We are only inviting our friends not our competitors. Ruto is our friend but still our competitor. We have not invited him,” he remarked.
Musalia Mudavadi, on January 10, announced that at their NDC event, he will make an earth-shattering announcement that will cause an earthquake in the country.
“On Sunday 23rd, ANC party will have its National Delegates Congress at the Bomas of Kenya which will determine our political direction.
“After that, I will make a declaration that will cause an earthquake across the country. The declaration will change the political landscape,” the party leader stated.
It now remains upon him to make good his threats and ‘shake the country’ on Sunday January 23 when everyone else will be glued on Tv to follow the proceedings.
