As a result, the ruling coalition emerged winners with 176 votes against 8; setting stage for the third and last voting exercise scheduled toady.
And todayTuesday, MPs from both the ruling and opposition sides will vote on the amendments proposed by the Parliamentary Finance and Planning Committee.
Those who were absent like Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Mumias East MP Peter Salasya promised to participate so that to shoot down the controversial Bill that is believed to be ‘taxful’.
While campaigning for the Bill on Sunday in Kakamega Town, President William Ruto assured MPs and locals that the Bill will bring many positive changes to the country and ought to be supported as it is.
