Monday, May 27, 2024 –Haiti police are set to arrive in Kenya for a series of military trainings of 14 days to help them combat hooliganism in their country.
This happening despite, Kenya police, also set in high gear, preparing to, later on, follow the team to their home in Haiti.

A source referred to this as a slight adjustment to earlier plans which required Kenya to send its forces first amid escalating tension and insecurity.
Kenya will now be training about 2000 Haitian cops before returning to their Caribbean nation that has since been hit hard with a gang now in control of about 80 percent of the Island.
The Kenya police advance team which went to Haiti and it is back made this training communication in the presence of Haitian Transitional Presidential Council currently in Kenya.
The recommendations to train the Haitians will see them taken through a crash course involving law enforcement as well as combat against any attacks.
Kenyawide.com has also learn that, though, the exact training date was not made public, this exercise will consume two weeks as the officers set to go back home in June 2024.
Kenyan government has received and will continue receiving help from the American counterparts to help restore order in the war-torn Region.

However, this agreement between the US and Kenya has seen part of Haitians living in the U.S take to the streets some to the Kenyan Embassy to protest Kenya’s plans to invade their territory in the name of peace keeping peace.
