Tuesday, June 11, 2024 –Majority Leader in National Assembly Kimani Ichung’wah has rubbished a series of photos shared on the internet showing Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua board Kenya Airways KQ plane to Mombasa.
Taking to his X platform today Tuesday June 11 evening, Ichung’wah described the events as pure PR stunts meant to attract sympathy form unsuspecting members of the public.
He also said, this is part of the blackmail orchestrated by the DP and his cronies so that government can over-fund hid office.
“Neither President William Ruto nor the Government of Kenya or Members of Parliament will succumb to BLACKMAIL. No amount of sympathy seeking photos, vernacular stations campaigns, social media blogging troops will handover billions to satisfy anyone’s insatiable greed for money and power,” said Ichungwah
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was today evening spotted at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA taking the Kenya Airways airplane to Mombasa for an unknown reason.
He appeared not having any bodyguard and was holding his own luggage( light blue suitcase) as attendants at the airport constantly engaged him.
This was taking place as his boss William Ruto and former commander-in-chief Uhuru Kenyatta were meeting at the Statehouse Nairobi.
