Tuesday, February 6, 2024 -Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has commenced process to force Kakamega tycoon Cleophas Shimanyula Toto to compensate him over malicious remarks.
Making the statement today Tuesday February 6 afternoon, the politician told members of the press that he will not settle for nothing less following the recklessness portrayed by the Kakamega contractor Mr. Shimanyula.
“I’ve today commenced the process for legal responsibility by Kakamega contractor Cleophas Shimanyula, aka Toto following his wild, baseless, unfounded and false claims in respect of the death of my fighter bull caretaker, the late Kizito Moi Amukune,” stated Khalwale.
The politician recorded a statement at Malinya Police Station.
“Formally recorded a complaint in the OB at Malinya Police Station,” added the senator.
Shimanyula had accused the politician of having purposely murdered the farmworker after he suspected that he was cheating with the wife.
According to the businessman, angry Khalwale stabbed to death the worker of more than 20 years.
This is despite Khalwale linking the death to his bull he called Inasio
Later, an official report from Government Chief Pathologist Johansen Odour would show that the diseased was gored by the bull hence putting the matter to rest.
The late Amukune Kizito has to since been laid to rest.
