This Wednesday February 21 incident left Ruto’s meeting interrupted twice as darkness engulfed the meeting dubbed the National Executive Retreat held in Naivasha Town, Nakurui County.

President Ruto was addressing his Cabinet Secretaries, where he was busy highlighting some of his policies, plans and achievements when the darkness visited that also shut down microphones he was using.

He would be seen struggling to bring back the speech as he tapped the microphones with his fingers.

Ruto was, at the time, trying to explain to his Cabinet why he picked on them saying, this was because he believed in their ability.

“The reason why I appointed you is that I knew you have the capacity to do the job you are doing,” Ruto stated as power went off and mics went silent as well.

From the clip shared on our desk from the meeting, this interruption took place twice with Ruto choosing not to make any comment on it.
