Saturday, June 8, 2024 –Police confirmed on Saturday that about ten persons perished in a frisk road accident in Mai Mahiu Town.
The Saturday, June 8, accident occurred after a truck reportedly lost control before it rammed a filled-up matatu.
Those who saw the accident said the incident was shocking as several lives were lost on the spot.
While confirming the incident, Naivasha OCPD Stephen Kirui said several others had been injured and have since been rushed to various hospitals around the area.
Preliminary reports suggested that the casualties were heading to a family function when they met their untimely death on the road.
