Saturday, May 11, 2024 –According to emerging reports concerning the bloody death of famous Ohangla dancer Sheila Wagesha Odoyo, it is reported that her husband who is the key suspect, took off in the middle of the night after orchestrating the murder.
The late’s body was discovered floating in a pool of blood in her matrimonial home on Thursday May 9 in Athi River.
Police who are working day and night have since tracked husband’s phone signals in Narok County and are reportedly narrowing down to his area of hideout.
Their daughter identified as Linda Okinyi, told detectives that Wagesha’s husband left home through a Mitsubishi Outlander which would later be found dumped at Kencom in the CBD Nairobi.
Probe findings further established that the suspect must have switched cars before leaving the CBD.
In the abandoned car were car keys and three bags which the police have taken to the nearest Athi River Police Station to use as part of the evidence.
“We are tracking him. His last phone signal was recorded in Narok at 6:26 am (May 9, 2024) before his phone went off,” a police officer probing the case shared with the press.
DCI police are still pondering as to how the suspect carried out the cruel crime without anybody noticing.
Wegesho’s family has since transferred her body from Shalom Community Hospital Morgue to Chiromo Morgue pending a post-mortem examination.
